Tnesevai Registration – How to register Tnesevai Id on “tnesevai.tn.gov.in”
To register Tnesevai id, open the Tnesevai registration page. I have attached the Tnesevai registration page screenshot below.
You have to fill up your personal details such as,
- Full Name
- District
- Taluk
- Mobile Number
- Email id
- Aadhaar No
- Login ID(Username)
- Password
- Confirm Password
- Captcha Code
Once done, click the “Sign Up” button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and verify it. That’s it, you have successfully registered an account on the Tnesevai website.

CAN Number Registration – How to Register CAN Number | Tnesevai?
What is CAN Number?
CAN Number is a unique number used to save up personal details for future usage on “www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in”. You can register CAN number via Tnesevai website. You can’t register more than one CAN number for a Aadhaar Number.
How to Register CAN Number?
Once you have completed the Tnesevai id registration successfully then log in to the Tnesevai website. The login page will look like the below image.
If the login is successful, you will be redirected to the Tnesevai dashboard where you have to click the “Revenue Department” link.
You can find a list of services available under the “Revenue Department”. You can click any one of them as per your need. For example, I clicked the “Nativity Certificate“.
A new popup window will open. Read out the instructions carefully and proceed further.
You will be redirected to the CAN Number page where you can search CAN number and register CAN Number. We are going to register CAN number so click the “Register CAN” button.
Now, you will be redirected to the CAN registration form where you have to input your personal details such as,
- Aadhaar Number
- Applicant Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Relationship
- Marital Status
- Father/Husband Name
- Mother Name
- Religion
- Community
- Education Qualification
- Occupation
- Current Address
- Permanent Address
- Mobile Number

Once you have filled up all the details, click the “Generate OTP” button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Input the OTP on the respective box and verify then finally submit the form.
