To apply for Tamilnadu government certificates such as (Community Certificate, Nativity Certificate, Small/Marginal Farmer Certificate, OBC Certificate, First Graduate Certificate, and Unmarried certificate) you have to register an account on the TNESevai website and have to create a CAN Number.
Once you have successfully finished the Tnesevai account creation and CAN number registration then you are ready to proceed further.
Apply Nativity Certificate Online In Tamilnadu
The first step is, log in to your Tnesevai account. The Tnesevai website also known as TNeGA Portal.
The dashboard will look like the below image, on that you have to click the “Revenue Department” Link.
You will be redirected to the “Revenue Department Services” page where you have to click the “REV-102 Nativity Certificate” link.
Now you will be redirected to the instructions page. Read out the instructions carefully and proceed further.
After that, you have to search your CAN number using your registered mobile number, Aadhaar number, or Email Id then verify CAN number via OTP. If you don’t have a CAN number then register by clicking the “Register CAN” button.
You don’t have to fill your personal details because your personal details are automatically filled up with the help of CAN number. You can apply for Nativity certificate using two methods,
- Nativity by birth
- Nativity by Residence
If you are in the birthplace which means you are in the address mentioned on the birth certificate then go for “Nativity By Birth“. If you are not in the birthplace which means you are migrated to another place means go for “Nativity By Residence“.
For the first option, you don’t have to fill up any details but for the second option, you have to fill up your current address.
Submit the application form. You have to upload the required documents in proper format such as,
- Any Address Proof
- Birth Certificate
- School Education Certificat or Employment Details or Other proof to prove continuous residence of 5 years( Only Required For Nativity By Residence)
Finally, you have to make the payment of Rs.60 using your credit, debit, or net banking. You will get an acknowledgment receipt. With the help of an acknowledgment number, you can track the status of your application.
Once the certificate gets generated you will receive a message on your mobile number. Simply take a print out of the certificate and use it.
